Student Access to Microsoft 365 apps

Current Marion Technical College students can now access the newest version of Microsoft 365 apps for FREE!

Here is some information you need to know about this program before you start using Microsoft 365 apps:

• The licenses are only available to active, current students. The license becomes active shortly after you register for a class in the current or future term. The licenses will be removed from your account when you are no longer considered an active student. This will cause the installed version of Microsoft 365 apps to change to reduced functionality mode (see below).
  
  
• Microsoft Office will check periodically to be sure you still have a license for Office 365 apps through Marion Tech. If the you no longer have a license for Microsoft Office through this program Office will change to reduced functionality mode. 
  
  
• If Marion Technical College decides not to renew the program licenses then the next time Microsoft 365 apps attempts to validates your license it will change to reduced functionality mode. You would then need to purchase a valid license of Microsoft Office to continue using the unrestricted version of Office.
  
  
• HOW TO INSTALL OFFICE AT HOME: Sign in to your MTC email account. (mymail.mtc.edu)
  1.Select the box of dots - top left image
  2. Select More Apps 
  3. On the right hand side of the screen, select Install apps and then Microsoft 365 apps
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation
